Statement:
As a painter I see the canvas as a place where color and form can replace words. I prefer abstraction because it allows complete artistic freedom. My drive is guided by my intuition, fueled by music and inspired from nature. My goal is simple. I wish to set a scene that evokes a mood or feeling to connect part of my inner world with the viewer.
Bio:
Since 2005, I have been experimenting with paint. I love color, texture, contrast, balance and form. My technique typically includes an assortment of palette knives and oil paints. I attended art school briefly, but quickly decided that I wanted to keep my experience with the process personal and completely unrestricted.
Recently, my dad and I opened a gallery for my art in Harvard, Massachusetts.
Currently, I live and create in Newburyport, Massachusetts where I find inspiration in nature and music.
